"It's been a long time since I've loved a hotel this much (and I did a staycation at a brand new 5 star hotel in my home state a few days before this). But I LOVED The Garland. My family stayed here for a 2 day visit to Universal. We loved the property, the pool, the food, the FREE SHUTTLE!, the staff, and the room. For me, the best part was the unbelievable amount of thoughtful storage in the room (cube storage above drawers, coat rack, bathroom shelving, bench for shoe storage, and a perfect ledge at the door to hold room keys). For my 8 year old, it was the pool. We had such a great time and all of us said we wish we could pick up the hotel and take it with us to any of our next destinations. It's also close to so many good restaurants. Every bit of it felt so clean--even the bottoms of my white socks were still white after wearing them around the room, and that's saying a LOT for a hotel room. We loved it! "
