"We had a standard reservation for our work stay and needed to get a decent room with plenty of "home" amenities; kitchen, decent bathroom, and a living room like area. After checking in we had been upgraded to an amazing view with all of the amenities on the top floor! The staff was great and we were able get access to whatever we needed quickly. "

"Condo was clean and spacious. Annoying tho to deal with time share harassment by phone and at check in. Didn't use resort amenities much but enjoyed breakfast at Campfire Grill. Was a good value in shoulder season."

"The property is older so do not expect to be a typical hotel, but then what hotel has a wood burning fireplace in the rooms and deer walking around in front of your porch. Food and drinks were good and a good atmosphere to relax and enjoy nature. Easy drive to Blacksburg for VA Tech games."

"The room was nice but the bathroom needs renovation. Wallpaper and paint were peeling around the tub. The view was amazing. It is walking distance from restaurants and coffee shops. "

"Great location! Very courteous & helpful staff. Awesome breakfast Buffet with plenty of options. Even the coffee is good. The only negative is the valet parking. There's very minimal street parking in the area for guests."
