"Because of the history of the hotel there is plenty of security, which seems intimidating at first, but i found them to be helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and furnished well to feel "of the period." The mattress was comfortable for this picky sleeper. The biggest drawback I experienced was space in the bathroom as there is no counter around the sink and the skinny glass shelf provided is limiting, but there is a counter just outside the bathroom (it's just not in the bathroom). I also found it easy to walk to many of the places I went to in downtown, and I believe there is a metro station nearby. Wonderful decor. Very enjoyable."
