"This place calls itself a Yacht Club??? What a Joke!! When we arrived our keys were in lock boxes cause they don't have on site staff after 5pm. The doors do not have dead bolts, slide bars, or chains. We did not feel safe at all. Never been to a hotel that didn't have a dead bolt or chain on their door. The restaurant had a sign on the door "permanently closed". There were no cars at all in the whole parking lot, it seemed like the place was abandoned. There were no other guests there yet room...

"We have been to this Hotel many times before and its always Excellent, (probably one of our very favorites) unfortunately I booked it and then both my husband and I got very sick (fever, lots of meds from the Dr. etc.) and were not able to keep the reservation. The room for one night was $336, which was a higher rate then we would normally spend on one night but it was going to be a treat. We were not able to change the date, unfortunately, because it was a "no refund / no change date rate." ...
