"A unique cozy place, very much unlike big hotels, great common area overlooking the ocean and a direct access to the beach, simple but with all the necessities. One thing to note is: in most rooms, windows cannot be opened so the air conditioner is the only air exchange. Windows can be opened in a few rooms, including the two rooms facing the beach directly, but it is very hard to open them, may require two people. "We made a reservation at the Salty Mermaid later in the day and arrived on site after hours. We called the after hours number and they helped us to get into the room and have a place for the night despite not being able to verify our reservation. Amazing service. The rooms are super cute and perfect size for a couple or small family. Right on the beach and it’s only 5 units so it’s small and private. Would hands down stay here again. "
