"This was home base for our first vacation in 4 years and first time to Banff. We so enjoyed our 5 day visit, Buffaloberry is beautiful, hosts could not have been more lovely, the breakfasts were gourmet. We loved the best blueberry pancakes! Teresa and James the hosts know all the best places to hike and see around Banff. The rooms were so well appointed, sitting on the patio in the evening we could hear wind rustling through the trees. "This hotel is family friendly to the max. There’s kids everywhere, the pool area is well topped up with towels and the free breakfast is packed from 7-10 with parents who are visibly relieved that they don’t have to cook! The hotel floors were all full during our stay so the elevator wasn’t a great option but all hallways and stairwells were in great condition. We had a lot of plumbing issues in our room but the staff always responded quickly and were happy to help. This isn’t a place to stay for a quiet getaway, but if you need a space where your kids can be kids- this is a great choice."
