"Fantastic stay. The Tuck Inn was magnificent. But if you plan to stay in the tree tops apartment note that it is up quite a few stairs, but others are ground level. Great views from the balcony. If you are planning to stay in Healsville I'd recommend you stay here. 10/10."

"Stayed 2 nights at the Gatehouse Cottage. Overall a lovely place to stay. Loved the open fire, the spa bath and the free breakfast. However we had no wifi during our stay. We contacted reception several times regarding this and they were quite helpful and did try to fix the problem but without success. We also thought that the cottage was very open to the road, no fencing around it, meaning anyone could just walk up to the back door. We heard weird noises at around 1am on the first night, so...

"the little place has everything we need for our family. It is so close to the river and the town. Perfect home away from home retreat. The host are also very nice and considerate. Will come back :)"

"Very spacious. Comfy bed. Loved having a washer and dryer and being able to see kangaroos in the back field. The coffee maker didn't work but the kitchen was well equipped. A bit dated. Wifi was very weak. "

"Arrived to find used nappies on the entry steps and empty drug bags on the kitchen bench. Our workers refused to stay there as the general condition was terrible. Definitely not fit to be rented out as accommodation. Owners were disgusting to deal with and refused to refund any money. Whatever you do, do not consider this or any of their places to rent"

"Exactly as described, perfect for a large group. Location location. Very clean. Plenty of kitchenware. Great outdoor area with BBQ. Comfy beds. Do agree a railing on the stairs leading to the kitchen would be handy for those mobility challenged. Would absolutely recommend and stay again. "

"Accommodation was great, property was perfect for our large family and the large open spaces in the house was great."

"I have stayed in many homes around the world and this by far has been the best. Linen, comforts, pantry goods, heating and birds were in abundance. A very relaxing place to stay and all the utilities were easy to operate. The driveway was also much easier than expected. We had no problems whatsoever "

"Lower bathroom showerhead broken, entire unit stunk of Indian food coming from next door, neighbors making noise every night until early hours, TV not working. we requested some clean towels which did not arrive. lots of traffic noise. Premises not very clean. For what we paid no value at all."
