"Great stay! The valet attendants are friendly. The front desk staff is always on top of things. I will say that for almost $500/night I wish I couldn't hear my neighbors alarm going off at 4am due to thinner walls…but that is my only negative comment I have. I love staying here."

"We stayed for one night and it wasn’t too bad. Hotel does offer free continental breakfast and water. Pool needed a better filter, but it got the job done for the time we were there. The front desk staff were amazing. It was also walking distance to a few restaurants ie longhorn, Ruth Chris, Olive Garden etc. Also, super close to the airport (5 mins) The rooms were a nice size and came with complimentary Dove soaps and shampoo/conditioner so that was a plus. They also offered a free shuttle to the airport. I would recommend and stay again. "

"We had a one bedroom suite. It was homey with amazing views. When we ran out of tp or anything, the front desk was quick to get those replaced. We were at the amazing heated pool and all enjoyed including the kids. The poolside restuarant was pricey, but with the in room kitchen, we were able to keep food price down. I have stayed here before alone, with family it was awesome!"

"We had a wonderful 4 days/3 nights. We however want to share an extremely rude encounter with a day desk clerk, Monday, 3/24. My sister and her 2 kids were looking for a vacation spot and decided to swing by Shephard's to spend the day, eat great food, etc. When we asked how to make that happen, the clerk went through the do's and don'ts (there were quite a few to remember and relay to my sister) my husband asked her to write down the fees so he didn't give wrong information.....the clerk wrote THIS on a piece of paper - "come see me" and then crumpled it up and gave him nothing. My husband is the nicest guy on the planet, so he just walked away. I tried to find a manager in the office so as not to be cranky in front of other guests...but never found one in the office. Completely unnecessary treatment of my husband and terrible behavior by anyone representing Shephards! My sister called to get the information - got the same person and was also treated unkindly. Other than this EVERYONE else was top-notch. Friendly. Fun. "
