"Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access"

"Nothing fancy, property is just worn. ie- broken picture frame, tub worn, carpet somewhat dirty in the room. I would not walk on it barefoot. But linens and bed were clean, heat worked well, had freezer, mini fridge and microwave which were very nice to have! We did not try the breakfast or go to the pool."

We asked for a let checkout of noon instead of 11 and the guy told us that would be fine and he would make a note of it and then we got a knock in the middle of my baby’s nap because he never passed it on so that was frustrating but overall, we were very pleased with the room!
