We really enjoyed our stay. Not the fanciest we don't need fancy. It was everything we needed and wanted was there for my husband and toddler. Staff was friendly and responsive, beautiful views, close to a regular beach and a lagooned beach (great for toddler swimming), good pool. I hope to be able to come back some day.

We stayed in the historic wing which was my preference. Yes, rooms are dated, and there are weird electrical set-ups because the property is so old, but the historic wing is really special, and I loved it. The folks at the front desk were not consistently great, and one person was really rude which was weird. Valet and bell service folks were fantastic! Housekeeping service was so-so, but the people doing the housekeeping were really nice. For days where you stay at the resort, don’t pre-book pink umbrella and chairs. Instead go to activity desk at about 6:30 am and get in line to reserve brown umbrellas and chairs for a little more $. First come first served. Much better placement.
