"The property itself was fine…. It was the getting to the property that was crazy stressful AND expensive!!!!! There should be a tip or warning of the expensive route to property from bus station… only 10 minute taxi ride that cost $44 usd each direction. "Little gem in Kopavogur. Hotel looks like new, very comfortable and clean room. Loved the shower very well designed so the bathroom floor stays dry all the time. Cozy place with a bakery near by. Best of all are the lovely owners that were so kind and generous sharing some food for breakfast, even when this was not part of the accommodation, as it was Easter when I visited and most of the places were closed due to holidays. "The apartment was very nice and is highly recommended for two people (see below). It was light and had an open feel. There are very good cooking facilities. It is somewhat outside of Reykjavík centre and so car is needed. The main downside is that there are no blackout blinds in the bright living area where the large sofa bed (for person 3 & 4) is located. So if you are planning to come in May - July (when Iceland never gets properly dark), then I would only recommend the apartment for two...

"This was one of the best surprises we had in our hotel stays while in Iceland. The decor in the lobby and rooms was beautiful -- funky, uniques and cozy. The staff was very friendly, and the bar in the lobby was well-stocked and inviting. We were only about 1.5 blocks from the main drag, but it was just enough to be quiet. We will definitely stay her again!"
