"Hotel has its own free longboat service to get help take you and your bags to and from the ferry. Walk to main part of town was short, only a tiny bit across the beach then on a path. Hotel room was nice. Pool area, bar area and bathrooms in need of some TLC."

"Great location with a short stroll to Fisherman's Village. Hotel appears a bit shabby in places and nowhere near as good as the previous hotel we stayed in. I wouldn't class this as a 5 star hotel, it just doesn't have the type of class or amenities you would expect. I would put it as a 4 star at the most. The staff were great and the pool magnificent but rooms not cleaned well and towels provided each day were often threadbare or stains on them. Worst of all was the awful and distinct smell of...

"The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the beach. The street is busy with shops and restaurants and bars. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was so friendly. Would definitely stay here again"

"Lovely place on sprawling property. Food is unbeatable. We found no need to go anywhere else to eat. Staff are amazing, and the tour to Kilim Eco Park they arranged was fantastic. The guide was a naturalist with great respect for the area. Highly recommend going with their guide. Didn’t love the private beach at Berjaya unfortunately. Found other beaches on the island more beautiful and enticing. And the wildlife on the property is amazing!"
