"Lovely hotel. Parking easy. Really quiet. Easy access to the town. Stayed for 3 nights. One day my room wasn’t cleaned despite the sign I left on the door. TV a bit small. Internet access good. Overall I can recommend the hotel and I would stay again. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fittings and decor are a bit dated but the bed was really comfortable and the linen and towels were lovely. I would suggest getting a room nearer the back of the hotel, we were on the front and it was rather noisy from the pub next door. Although the parking may seem a little complicated it's good value for being in the town and we extended the next morning at a better rate than if we had moved it. "We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."

"I arrived after a rather heart-stopping journey through Storm Darragh. And as I was checking in the power went off. There were a few refugees from the storm and staff who couldn't get home after their shift. The kitchen was in darkness and powerless so no food available but the bar did stay open! The staff were cheerful and helpful finding a duvet to wrap up a chilly lady. True community spirit at it's best!"
