"A hidden gem near Ubud. The place is simply amazing. Can’t put down any faults. Everything was excellent. We had a villa with infinity pool (please be aware to mention your preference while booking as only 2 villas have it) overlooking the valley and ordered breakfasts and dinners to our villa several times as it was just so beautiful and tranquil there that we didn’t want to go out. But the whole property and experience (villas, spa, restaurant with its food and drinks, morning activities, afternoon tea and snacks, service etc) were just so nice that we would already want to go back there. Definitely the place to go and experience the luxury and impeccable service they offer. "

"This was the first place l stayed at during my first visit to Bali. Loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings, with stunning views of the rice fields. Great feeling to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping. The villa itself was spacious, with beautiful furnishings. Staff were gracious and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit."

"Our stay far exceeded expectations wrt service (butlers, restaurant and spa staff), food quality, restaurant and overall ambiance. We loved our 5 night stay in a Butler Valley Pool Villa, which was very relaxing. The afternoon rain storms were fantastic! We had several treatments at the spa and three private yoga classes, which were all excellent. The spa location and setting are sublime and fantastic! Raditya “Mr Sun” gave excellent private yoga classes down by the river. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the therapists’ names but they were great too. While we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return, this property (or parts of it) isn’t for everyone. It’s located on a steep hillside in a jungle, which is great for ambiance and views, but it might not be the place for anyone that isn’t comfortable with steep slopes and narrow, steep uneven stairs. There are golf carts for access to the upper levels of the resort only. The spa and lower area is currently only available by steps, but a new funicular/elevator is expected to be operational soon.) It may not be suitable for people with limited mobility or small children. Butler suites are worth the splurge. The butler team uses WhatsApp messenger to keep track of guest requests across shifts. Very organized. They’ll arrange room service and anything that you may need. We were in excellent hands with Yupik, Angga, Wawan, Jaka and Dedy covering the shifts. The restaurant and housekeeping teams were all also very attentive. Thx"

Lia, Warwan, Dewa, Risky, and Wendhi, are what make this property a truly mesmerizing experience for your trip. They go above and beyond providing you with exemplary customer service. "Such an amazing experience at this hotel, not only is the staff incredibly kind and attentive they are also so thoughtful. We stayed for our honeymoon in the pool villa, and on the first night we came in they gave us a call in the morning to see if we’d like to have breakfast even after breakfast hours were over since we hadn’t eaten. They always asked us about our itinerary to help us decide best places to go or offer us shuttle service or a car. We went on a lovely trip with Joe to the swing and coffee plantation, he’s so fun and knowledgeable, he was also so patient with us and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The room itself is beyond what I expected, so clean and beautifully designed. The bathroom is so spacious and gorgeous that we could probably just live there. The shower has the best water pressure and the hot water keeps going even when we’ve filled the bath and want to use the shower after. Such an amazing experience, I really wish we had booked longer. Highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back one day! Also they offer yoga in the morning, a free foot massage when you first come and their chicken is halal. Amazing experience!! "The Sun of Granary was the perfect choice. The property was amazing. The staff was pleasant and the food was *chefs kiss*. Location was good. Not too far from anything. I highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. I also highly recommend the one bedroom villa with the private pool. "
