"This Cottages are very unique. There is a mix of old and modern. Outside look tells you the buildings were built long ago, but built Very Well, many modern buildings, if not all, would be jaleous to have such sturdy construction. Compared to other luxury hotels in Banff, we felt and feel more control over our stay. More freedom. The wood burning inside, in an amazing fireplace, is unprecedented experience. A place to be with family. Kitchen is available, with utensils provided. A nice swimming pool and hot tub indoor (the outdoor one was out of order this time). The tennis courts, the squash court, just enough for kids to be away from the screens and not boring. Getting out of your cozy Home, you end up right in the hugs of nature. Location: not entering the busy streets and sidawalks of little beautiful Banff, you enter your little "Town" of Rocky Mountain Resort, another little - gentle detail, but can be important. Thank you to the people who work to maintain and run this little hidden gem. "

"I love everthing about this hotel...literally! My only complaint would be parking. The restaurant is a hopping place and brings people in, which in turn takes away parking from guests staying at the hotel."

"The cabin was very cute and cozy. I was not a fan that all the cabins are pretty much right on top of each other but it wasn't a big deal. There was some construction going on that started promptly at 8am every morning I was there. Every morning started with hammering, drilling and sawing so there was no sleeping in even if I wanted to. In the evenings when I came back the construction work was still going on and the latest time I noted them working was at 7:49pm, so basically 12 hour days of construction work. I will note that I went in the off season so I'm assuming they were working around the clock to have the cabins finished before the main season started but it was a downside to my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Aside from the early morning construction wake up calls I would stay here if I ever make it back to the area. "

"I love staying at Hidden Ridge Resort for their flexibility in room options, their pool/hot tub/sauna area. Also if you love wood burning fire in your room the firewood is included!! Always a great time"
