"Very quiet neighborhood and very walkable. I walked to restaurants, cafes, galleries and a nail salon. Communication wasn't the best. One staff member would tell me one thing and then I would go to another staff member and they would tell me another thing. I was told there are no towels on the rooftop and to ask the front desk. I came down and asked the front desk (young black woman). She was unfriendly and lacked hospitality (also not responsive via the message system. Took her hours! to...

"Decent enough hotel, very close to French quarter. The building is old, but the rooms are spacious and updated. Clean enough, comfortable beds. Laundry and kitchen is nice. Water pressure in the shower was terrible. The area around is a little seedy, but I think that's everywhere in New Orleans. Compared to some of the fancier hotels nearby, this place is a lot cheaper. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but I'd recommend it if you want a cheap place with a kitchen and laundry"

"Overall it was nice and quaint . Great location . I do think the color scheme in the rooms needs to be updated. It was a green trim around the borders and doors . I think just updating would make a world of difference as well as putting some flooring down instead of the natural concrete "
