"The property was modern and was very clean. The hotel reception staff weren’t overly friendly and appeared to do the bare minimum to get by. The rooms are clean, and have good amenities although they’re small which you have to expect in New York. Many people complain about the wait for the lifts although we didn’t have an issue with them. The main gripe for me is that this is the first hotel I’ve even stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot) where I wasn’t able to go to the hotel bar. It was...

"Internet went down when I was attempting to check-in. Had to wait in lobby for 15-20 extra minutes for my key card to get registered. Receptionist was on the phone texting and FaceTiming when I walked up. Told me to hold while she finished. Never hung up the FaceTime until she couldn’t get the key card to work and then told that person she would call them back. Manager never came out to apologize to me or tell both receptionist to get off their phones. "
