"Just a few minute walk to slopes and in the heart of the village. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the billiards and game room as family time before dinner. Rooms are good size but dated. Only needed them for sleep, but none of us slept well due to a few issues. 1. Heat/AC seems to be centralized or perhaps our rooms unit was broken. "The property is clean and located mere steps from the Palisades Tahoe village and the Tram building (and also close to the bottom of the WaSheShu lift I think). Convenient parking for one vehicle per room in the adjacent garage. Staff was friendly and helpful, though maybe a little slow on checking people in that night. Some parts of the property were undergoing renovation during my stay, so I gave the Property Condition only 4 out of five stars."

"Convenient amenities with ski slope, sledding hill, pool, ice skating, game room and several dining options. Having a beginner ski slope and maybe option for ski lessons or private instructor would be great. The game room could be made better - maybe with a pool table and some comfy sofas when watching movie. "

"The hotel was right next to Palisades ski resort which made it super convenient. Everything inside was clean and gave good home vibes. Minor things that didn't work were 2 light bulbs didn't work which was a little too dim inside"

"This property is historical and quaint, it was where the Olympic athletes stayed for the 1960 Olympics. It was a bit tricky trying to find where the front office was, but we loved the location. The woman at the front desk was great and so helpful. We were so pleased that we had bikes available on site for our use. Walking to the main Ski Area was easy. It is showing some age on the outside, but the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need, including warm robes."

I called several times and spent hours trying to get on the phone to sort it out and get my refund.
