"You can’t unload in front of the hotel so there’s a bit of walk to the side street with luggage. First room smelled like smoke and the staff were accommodating and put us in a different room. Shower pressure was low and cleaning could’ve been better inside the room for a 4-star hotel. The location is amazing and walkable to everything. That makes it worth it in my opinion."

"The location and room is good. They upgraded our room which is good and said that we have the best view, but there is no view as we are blocked by another building. Still, we are satisfied with the stay. "

"A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They couldn't do enough for you. Located in the ideal location, on Amstel. It's a 20ish minute walk into the center of Amsterdam (25 minutes to Central Station) and around a 20 minute walk to the Heineken and the Van Gogh Museum. Some lovely restaurants around the area and the hotel backs onto Rembrandtplein, which features clubs and other restaurants. The National Opera and Ballet is on the other side of the water. "Solid 3-star hotel in a great location. The facilities are showing their age but everything is functional, and the staff were great. Elandsgracht is pleasant enough on its own, but this spot leaves you with the Jordaan, Leidesplein, Oud-West, Vondelpark and Museumplein, and Sound Garden all in easy distances (just to name a few)."
