"Overall, a lovely place. Clean and staff was nice. Had a two bedroom unit. Two burner hot plate was kind of tight and took a while to heat up and no oven. Biggest issues: no hot water in kitchen and the wifi didn't quite reach the bedrooms (it worked fine in family room). "Lovely property with quaint setting. It is more like a hostel or owner occupied hotel with individual bedrooms but shared bathrooms. It is fine for couples. Owner’s father lived upstairs. Overall nice property but not what I expected. I wish the description explained bathroom and shower arrangements better. If it would have, I would have chosen a traditional hotel. "

"We had an amazing time. The beaches are beautiful. The food was great. We didn’t have one bad meal. The employees were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Whether you are having dinner, getting a drink or just taking a walk, if you come in contact with an employee they make you feel like you're at a 5 star resort. Make a reservation quickly because the fill up fast. I made the mistake of not specifying I wanted a first floor room. I paid for a deluxe room but was given a premium room. What makes it premium? 47 more square feet and second floor. I later found out that they just gave my room to someone else because they checked for another 1st floor room and they did not have one available. I definitely recommend this resort."

Perfect (except during boatfest/carnival)

"Before you book, be sure it's not during carvinal/boatfest. We came in on January 12, 2025 and couldn't get asleep until 1am or so. BUT, the rest of the week was perfect. Even though by the airport, I didn't really notice plane noise while sleeping. "

Gorgeous clean and comfy

"A little bumpy at check in when we were charged more than the contracted Hotels.com price. Supervisor, David, fixed the problem the next day with a credit. Kudos. The property is beautiful. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Main pool, children’s pool, hot pool and an infinity pool. The gym is spacious and well stocked. Fresh ice water is available in the lobby always. We ate at the infinity poolside restaurant and the food was amazing. The beach is one block from the Hotel so not a big deal. Getting a beach chair is on a first come first serve basis, but if you get there early you will get chairs. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located walking distance to numerous stores, restaurants and cafes. One issue we had was the noise emanating from the locals racing motorcycles on the street behind the hotel at all hours of the night. The local government needs to address that. "

"the staff really cared about making us comfortable. From the moment we arrived Bolivar showed us our room and explained everything we needed to get started. On the beach where we spent most of our time Oscar, Jose and Kevin helped us setup and were very friendly. We even got to chat with Jason the security guard as we passed. Place was beautiful. the food was excellent."
