Their breakfast was delicious with a start of fresh fruit and scones, and a great breakfast burrito that day. A short walk to LLBean, it’s near all the attractions in Freeport. "We come every year to the area for a local event, each year we have chosen Hampton Inn. The place is always spotless, the staff is always mostly friendly. I say mostly because this year, we had an incident during breakfast, I’m sure the staff was overwhelmed because the hotel had been taken over by people from our event, but they seemed a bit frazzled and unwilling to make small concessions; (we asked if there was more fruit). Literally that is the ONLY issue we had. We will for sure continue...

"I booked here because it included breakfast. The breakfast was a sad joke. It was a continental breakfast at best but barely. I came down 5 minutes before breakfast was due to close to get another cup of coffee and everything was already gone which doesn’t say much - they packed up the bagels and dry muffins. Otherwise, my room was quiet and adequate. The property was undergoing renovation so I don’t think it’s fair to comment on any of that but breakfast was sad. "

"Beautiful spot on the ocean. The Inn is run by hospitality students studying at the Community College. The Inn is on the campus. Some of the furnishings could be updated and the Wi-Fi was suboptimal, but worked with a personal hot spot. The location and walking paths were wonderful. It was perfect for us and just a short drive into downtown. Ocean birds were plentiful!"
