"Good, convenient location in Downtown. Hotel needs a major refurbishment. Ancient AC/Heat unit could only groan and look filthy. Bathroom door wouldn't close, warped, and toilet seat broken. Ceiling of bathroom/microwave cracked with peeling paint and paint chips on the floor. Door to room was not very secure. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom linens were good. "Quiet, beautiful and excellent staff"

"Enjoying the history related to this property. The courtyard is beautiful. The elevators were not working so this created added trips back and forth to the car to unload items. The sink stopper was missing and there was a lightbulb out in the bathroom. The staff were very pleasant and Apologetic about the elevators. "

"Pros: The rooms are very clean and the staff was very attentive when we needed them. Cons: Being frisked by an armed guard before entering the upstairs bar was eye opening. Never had that happen before so it makes you wonder what problems have happened to cause that. Doors to the motel get locked at night. Not a problem. But the doors to the motel bathrooms get locked as well! Seriously? Sometimes you'd like to not share an upset stomach with your roommate! "
