"Lively staff, right in the centre of Fort Kochi. Location was fantastic with loads of restaurants & cafes close by. Room had aircon which was a big bonus as we didn’t think it had it. Rooms overlook communal courtyard - big and spacious. Clean bathrooms and no issue with bugs (except mosquitos but they are everywhere in Cochin). Cons: Bed sheets and pillow cases were dirty upon arrival (some had stains) "

"Friendly team of staff led by Andrew who went out of his way to be provide any assistance we needed. More information needs to be provided during the check-in process about the hotel policies on hot water, cleaning and facilities timings to avoid misunderstandings. The restaurant manager was most helpful and the food served was freshly made and tasty. There were some flys in the restaurant which could have been avoided by plugging in an insect repellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The gym was disappointing as all the cardio equipment did not work and was not cleaned regularly. The massages at the Spa were excellent and the swimming pool was clean. "

"We stayed at Tissa's for 3 nights and it was so memorable. The three women who work the front desk are incredibly kind and helped us with whatever we needed (transportation, walking tour, laundry, massage, etc.). The chef makes delicious Keralan food (particularly liked his fresh caught fish - tell him ahead of time!). Breakfast in particular was delicious - always with a new Keralan option and a continental option. The location was good - a few minutes away from the busy tourist area and in a more local community, but still close to everything. Our only real issue is that the WiFi does not carry over to the rooms, although it's accessible from the common area right next door. We ended up hotspotting, when needed. We would absolutely stay there again! "

"This is an extraordinary hotel, a colourful and unique oasis in the middle of bustling kochi. The rooms were beautiful and large and cool with a hot shower and comfortable beds. The pool and communal areas were also gorgeous and tranquil. Breakfast was fine, a good selection. Staff were great also. The afternoon snacks were delightful and a really appreciated extra. The fresh lime soda from the bar was amazing. It is quite noisy as it is in the middle of the town so cars horns and dog barking are quite loud but the shutters help and this is unavoidable in its location. The hotel is well situated for walking out to nearby cafes and shops with local clothes and crafts as well as the local sights such as the beach and the st Francis church. "

"Amazing relaxing stay at Fort Kochi. The Ayurvedic massage treatment was incredibly relaxing, highly recommend. A bit of construction was a little noisey but they also provide ear plugs which helps. "

"The staff, the chef, Rahul, the lovely vocalists, the concierge and the beautiful ambiance made our trip just wonderful. The food was excellent and the property and our spacious room were additionally special. We loved our stay. Everyone was friendly and professional. "
