"Absolutely gorgeous hotel. The space was extremely comfortable and well decorated. The views are amazing. Only downside is I believed that the cooking presentations were mediocre. I thought they could show how sauces were prepared rather than just assembling a meal."

"We had such a lovely time staying at The Panoramic Getaway. The hotel was spotless and had great amenities. We took advantage of the rooftop pool, restaurants, and Ayurvedic treatments. Arya was invaluable in making recommendations for us, answering our questions, and was a kind, gracious host! Mr. Mount was excellent driver and a true gentleman! We look forward to our next stay!"

"Excellent Staff, Great Food, and a Beautiful View. Front Desk Supervisor Ambu, Food Manager Mathew, Restaurant Manager Vipin, restaurant staff George (Chocolate Maker), and Chef Sabu were all excellent. The shows and activities at the hotel were equally enjoyable for both kids and adults. It’s a great place to stay—home away from home—and our entire 10-member team enjoyed every minute of the stay."

"You have to remember that this is a very remote location. On basis of that the food is very good. The setting is amazing so peaceful. The hotel does not sell alcohol, this is not very clear on the description above, so has led to some negative reviews. The food is a buffet which changes each day. There is also a menu for ordering other food instead (which is where most of the non-indian food is). The rooms are very nice. We did not choose the hot tub option. We got a large balcony amongst the trees. There was no one overlooking us, and I think that is the case on most of the rooms. The staff were very friendly. They helped arrange a tour for us. It does seem that most guests arrange their own driver and tours. I would suggest contacting the hotel before for a list of the sites to see nearby (tea plantation, waterfalls, spice gardens, chocolate factories, etc)... The list is a single page and you would be able to plan your own visits with the driver who takes you to the hotel."

"We stayed three nights at this resort. The greenery around this property is breathtaking! The staff were really helpful and attentive although a few areas can be improved. The last ten minutes or so to get to this place had awful road conditions compared to other roads in Kerala. This is not entirely properly’s fault but they and the other resort owners on the same road should be able to influence the government or pave it at their own expense. The lunch at this pkace was awesome! We should have eaten here everyday! The breakfast and dinner buffet was so so. Also, they were understaffed during these times and could not be as attentive. The buggy service was a hot or miss. We had two senior citizens staying with us and one of them had knee surgery recently and without the buggy it would be almost impossible her to access the hilly terrain. The buggies did not always come on time. However, they apologized and ultimately sent them. We rented a two bedroom property with pool. The place was spotless and beautiful! We will be back again. If you have a car/driver, skip the breakfast or dinner and opt for the lunch gir your half board option. Some of the dishes made to order during lunch are the best I had in Kerala!
