"I'll start with something positive. The beds are comfortable and I liked the choice of pillows. The rooms are fairly clean. There was dried soap residue in the soap dish attached to the shower, I scraped some off with my nail. That's just to give you an idea that it was far from meticulous. The management is very nice and they offered to change my room when I pointed out some issues. The phone did not work to call the front desk during my last TWO visits. When I complained at the front desk, they sent a repairman up to connect the phone properly. Every time I flushed the toilet, it made a VERY loud high pitched noise. It was too much trouble to pack and change rooms, so I didn't flush often. I think one problem is that the previous people using the rooms don't report these issues, so they are not corrected for the next guest. That's giving the management the benefit of the doubt. This hotel is probably as good as some others with similar ratings, but less expensive because it's on the outskirts of Watsonville. "

"Nice family trip to the beach. The condo was spacious and the primary bedroom was fantastic. The other two bedrooms were small, but were still accommodating. The property is very well maintained. There’s paths to walk on for a nature walk and the beach has some hard sand that makes long walks on the beach very easy to do. There were 6 of us that went and there was plenty of space. Great stay!"
