"This particular hotel is for people that are mainly self sufficient I wouldn't suggests it if you cannot mentally operate independent of being accompanied. the local area is amazing I'm a small town kinda guy theirs a brewery if you have the time and walk you'll hit the coast for a really good breeze. We love the Ocean view

"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The property is older, but very clean and well maintained. Their staff including shuttle bus driver, all provide excellent customer service. The location is about 15 minute walk from Kawazu station, but be cautious with Google map! Google direction was inaccurate leading us towards the beach cliff! The hotel actually provides free shuttle to and from the train station, until 8:30pm. As for meals, hotel breakfast is very good, as well as their lunch & dinner on site (Japanese & French)."

"We arrived too early to check in but the staff who was there on the morning of 2/11 was so helpful in getting us situated with lockers to store our luggage until check-in time. We appreciated the helpfulness and patience of the staff member that day. She and another staff member were there at check-in at 3:00 and again they were so helpful. We would stay there again. The hotel is also so convenient due to being in walking distance to Atami Station as well as to bus and taxi hubs."
