"My husband, our dog, and I spent Christmas weekend at Hotel Pousada Ilhasol. The room was comfortable and had a small private patio, which was perfect to dry our bathing suits and towels and even better for the dog to be outside off leash. The included breakfast buffet was fantastic and grounds were perfectly maintained with bird guides, a nice in-ground pool and bar. We were even able to bring the dog by the pool while we dipped our feet in. The staff was welcoming too!"

"The hotel made sure to mention that English was available and the staff spoke it, but I only met one person who spoke English when I was checking out. That being said, I didn’t have too much trouble communicating. The view from the balcony is amazing and a 12/10. "The hotel is right across the street from the beach and carnival which is nice. Apon checking in our room had bugs on the bed and then when we killed them we were woken up to more bugs crawling on us. We called the front desk a man came up in the middle of the night and said its fine they are just termites and felt after promising us that we can change rooms the next day.
