"Perfect stay from check-in to check-out and certainly helped by a better standard of room than our last stay (previous one was small, lacked any element of being special). Reception staff helpful, friendly and welcoming, as were the dining staff. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Points to mention for hotel awareness are 1) breakfast, although really good variety, could be warmer and 2) bed pillows full of air rather than fullness. "The hotel is located in a great place, not far from the start of the Royal Mile (although there might be others that might be more centrally located to the train of bus stations), if you need, but only 5-10 minutes by taxi. "

"The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and welcoming and check in/out was simple and easy. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, choice of pillows with extras in the wardrobe and the shower was hot and powerful. We enjoyed using the pool and steam room before check out in the morning. The only tiny problem that we had was that the car parking app didn't work; but the machine outside did, and the discount code to reduce parking to £8 for 24 hours was appreciated!"
