"We had a lovely stay over Christmas. We opted for the basic room without a window and although the room was quite small there was plenty of room for our needs. The hotel has a buffet continental breakfast with lots of great fresh pasties, we absolutely loved their homemade yogurt with honey and granola. The hotel is very walkable to all the sights and the staff were warm and welcoming. We will definitely stay there again. "

"Overall good place to stay. It’s close to public transport. My only concern is the lightning in the room is a bit dark and hurt my eyes. There will be a few stairs if your room is located at the other end of the hall way (further side from the lift). Room is warm and bed is comfy. "

"This was our third time staying at Kings Manor and we love it. The location is great as you are out of town but the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. We love that we can park the car and then not use it again the whole time we are there. The bus system in Edinburgh works really well! "Hotel is 10 min walk from Edinburgh Waverley station and walking distance to all the main sites in Edinburgh. Saw a few negative, reviews on the Ibis check in website for this hotel, but other than a congested reception area at times, receptionists were excellent and friendly, the room I had was quite large and very quiet, including the whole floor. Best kept secret in Edinburgh

"perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is tucked away in the west end, walking distance to almost everything, many restaurants to choose from and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. They do not have onsite laundry but the staff were very helpful in locating a local laundromat. They also no longer offer breakfast, but lots of good choices close by. For the price and the location, this hotel met all our needs"
