"Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Misleading Information and Additional Charges at Hotel Virat Inn Dear Expedia Customer Service, I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding a recent booking experience through Expedia at Hotel Virat Inn in Gaya, with booking reference number 72808137801065. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was shocked to discover an unexpected additional charge for the use of air conditioning in the room....

"The property is good overall, specially for Buddhist pilgrimage. However if you are a pure vegetarian, you will face problems in food. Not only in the restaurant but in entire Bodhgaya. Apart from that we had a pleasant time in Bodhgaya and this hotel."

"This time experience was not good. Room thas allotted for the same price 15 days ago was half the size. No latch on the room door. The lock also didn't work. So, lived in a room that could not be locked from outside. For room upgrade,the answer was difference between rack rate and what I paid through hotels.com. Even the commission amount was not offered in the offset price. One set of front staff is good,another is purely commercial. In all I may not stay here in future"

"Hospitality is excellent and location is perfect. Management is very responsive and staff hospitable. However there is a disconnect on the online booking regarding already paid breakfast option which doesn’t reflect on the hotel account which can be an irritant. Also the food could be improved upon. Otherwise excluding online booking confusion and a little improvement in the food this place deserves a 5 star. "
