"I’ll preface this review by saying that I’ve stayed at some of the best resorts / hotels in the world. Jumeirah al Qasr is special. The hotel is part of a larger resort / mini city called Madinat Jumeirah which , though massive, is easily accessible through free golf cart buggies and incredible Venice-esque gondolas. "A lovely, peaceful hotel if you’re looking to get away from the city. The Adult Pool was a key feature and Jimmy at the pool bar was excellent as were the breakfast staff. The Garden Terrace room was not as luxurious as I had expected sadly although the time of year did affect this also (early sunsets, mosquitos). Overall a nice, boutique hotel. "

The rooms were good. The pools and dining options were good. However, one thing I think could be improved is the smoking situation.
