We hoped to check in early as we were attending a wedding - but were told they were short-staffed, so no early check-in; they would leave a key at the front desk. "Stayed here for a visit/tour of UVM. Nice view of the lake. Easy walk to a really lovely downtown. Little bit more of a walk to campus all uphill but not bad. They give you a coupon for breakfast but the breakfast is expensive so the coupon might only cover half. Inexpensive covered parking garage connected to the hotel. There is an indoor pool but we did not use on this trip. Overall nice and would stay again. "
