"I needed step by step instructions by car, and dark, and gps wouldn't work. They were so patient and sweet and the owner came by at night to make sure we were okay, since it was late. "Because I don’t speak Italian or German, checking un was a challenge. The receptionist behaved as if I was the one at fault for not finding a common language. After taking our passports and handing me a key, she left abruptly without indicating the location of the room. The room itself was nice. The on site restaurant was very good, but very under staffed (maybe because it was Italian Liberatiin Day, a holiday). Breakfast and parking were fine. The Wifi did not work during our entire stay....

"Out of the way hotel up steep and narrow roads. Having a GPS will certainly help find it. Below average mattresses. Not very soundproof. Breakfast buffet not great. Avoid the meat and dairy as both of us had stomach issues that day, as well as last year when we stayed here. Not worth paying extra for, but no other restaurants around. No English spoken. Wifi only in lobby. But this is the cheapest hotel around. Clean enough. "
