"The Chancellor is extremely clean and well maintained. We have stayed there quite a few times. The staff is excellent. There were strikes going on at several of the other hotels in the area that created a lot of noise, this is not the Chancellors fault. We also saw several drug overdoses in the area of Union Square. A lot of the businesses in the area have very visible private security, but San Francisco PD is notably absent. Again, not the Chancellors fault, but the City of San Franciso's...

"Thank you Soma House for our clean room and friendly customer service. We stayed at the Soma House for a concert we were going to at the Bill Graham Civic Center. Perfect location and within walking distance. I don't recommend walking at night. Overall, I would stay here again for another event at the Bill Graham Civic Center. "

The area wasn't as safe as I expected and its clear the hotel had been redone to look newer but that staff couldn't have been more helpful.
