"Upon entering the room we were impressed by the blue led lighting strips. It gave us the sense that we were going into a room of the future. However, they have enough other lights that we were able to read without any effort. (I don't really like hotels that are mood-lit and never able to make bright enough to read anywhere). "This hotel is on a street with less hotels and shops than much of Thamel so it was overall a quieter site. The staff was very helpful in guiding us to locations and making phone calls for us on several occasions. If we get back to Kathmandu, we will stay here again."

I stayed 4 nights, which may have been two too many as there really wasn’t a whole lot to do at night. Still the day hiking was nice and the hotel restaurant was nice. "

But if you do stay know many laundry services will wash and fold for 200 rupees per kilo. "
