"The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant. We ordered two lobster dinners and were served shrimp. When we stole the waitress that we ordered lobster and got shrimp, she looked at our plates and said, "no, that is lobster." I said no it is not and so did my grandson. Then she came back and said they could correct only one plate. I said, "how is that reasonable? We ordered two lobster plates and got shrimp. Why wouldn't you correct both?" It was a big to do and by the time I got my dinner, I had lost my appetite. Both the shrimp and lobster were over cooked."

"We loved Mawamba lodge, friendly staff, great location, lots of wildlife around and the hotel also organised our trips which were brilliant, boat ride and night walk, saw lots of birds, frogs, crocodile, agouti. The location and grounds are just idyllic "

"I am not sure if we received VIP. perks but the property, food, staff, and room were awesome. It was like a little oasis in a bustling but laid back area. The restaurant, Gigi’s, was lovely and the staff were so friendly. The food options were flavourful and the entertainment made it extra special. Great staff in reception and housekeeping, too. Beautiful pool area. "
