"First, none of the staff were wearing masks in these COVID times, even after we requested them to.in fact one young chap even had the audacity to tell us why they were not required. Second, on arrival the reception was unattended and we spent a few minutes till somebody came by to check us in. The room phone does not work, so there is no way to call for room service or housekeeping. "We had booked the hotel from 14th to 16tth April through hotels.com according to which we were to pay the cost of booking at the hotel itself. The credit card amount was blocked, however. Shortly after a few days I got a call from Treebo that I needed to pay 50 per cent of the amount to secure the reservation for 3 rooms; accordingly, I did. "Overall stay was good. Food was excellent. Service was average. Reception staff was not not customer friendly. Verbal instruction were given. The checkin time & check out time was different than what was mentioned in the reservation. The entry fee to the Lavasa was extra to the customers, who booked the hotel there. This needs to be mentioned specially during room booking in these hotels."
