"An amazing experience in a traditional Japanese inn! The room was expansive and spacious, and definitely try the onsen, even if it seems intimidating to try as a foreigner. I experienced it in the winter after hiking snow trails, so it really soothes the body! The surrounding resort is beautiful and easy to walk to many hotspots in the area. The non-reservation restaurant on B1F is nice, but their menu is limited in the evening, so plan ahead if you are looking for nighttime dining. "

"Huge nice resort with beautiful indoor and outdoor onsens. Breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious and variety of different cuisines from various regions. Walkable to lovely bridges nearby. Comfortable stays. "

"Hotel location is good, close to public transport and restaurants. Room is typical Japanese standard, on the small side. Room was centrally heated/controlled, so can't adjust. It is extremely warm for such a small room, had to open window slightly to cool. Do not recommend buffet breakfast at 1800 yen. Overall, it was good."

We had dinner at 6:30 (the last time slot offered by the hotel), at 6:50 some food already running out and no refill. I have visited Japan for many times and never seen this happens before.
