"This hotel was a great value! We had a kitchenette in our room, free airport shuttle, free parking, a full cooked breakfast, pool & hot tub located in the beautiful courtyard. Our room was clean, the staff was great! There's an Avis car rental place literally right on property (we learned it used to be the hotel library! The books are still there!) So we saved money by using the free airport shuttle the first and last day and renting our car for two days instead of the 3 or 4 we would have if we rented at the airport. The only minor things were that there was a mildewy smell in our room but we just opened a window and didn’t mind after a minute or two. And one of the nights (might have been friday?) There was music playing outside until quite late. (Might have been one of the neighboring restaurants?) It wasn’t very loud, so not a big deal. Saturday night we took the last parking spot. The other nights parking was fine! Overall we felt safe and comfortable and we'd definitely stay here again if flying into John Wayne!"

"Overall staff was amazing! Very attentive and kind. Property on Suite building was being renovated on the outside currently but its understandable. The main building hosts a pool with jacuzzi, a restaurant with a bar, a courtyard with a fountain. It is an amazingly beautiful hotel. They also have laundry services on site.for $4 per load. The rooms specifically the jr suite was amazing. The bed was superb, a jet bath, a couch with pull out bed. The over all experience was fantastic! Would definitely stay again. "

"I love shopping and dinning is near. Gas station is next to the hotel. Easy access to 405 hwy. Is always clean and quiet. Even my pet love it. This time was a strong skunk smell like, other than that. Is excellent. "

"Very nicely landscaped & close to food, shopping & freeway. Under services reason for 4 stars was small, lumpy, uncomfortable pillows & small tv, otherwise it was very nice. Could also use darkening window coverings for people to sleep in although the shutters are quite charming so it's hard to say. LOL"

"The portable AC unit made the rooms smell but the weather outside was perfect just to leave the windows open. The staff was amazing. The room was nice and spacious. I didn’t know what to expect as this was our first time staying in Laguna Beach, and we had an excellent time. The restaurant at the bottom and rooftop bar was excellent. Will definitely stay here again."
