Cancun South Trip

It was our first trip to Mexico, and we were on a budget, this place certainly fit the bill. I am so grateful to the staff for their excellent service! They were cheerful, energetic, and very helpful. While we did have a minor issue with our first room assignment, they immediately offered to move us to another, ensuring it was clean. Housekeeping was excellent, our room was tidied daily, and drinks were replenished. Although their standard rooms could use some improvement—for instance, the bathrooms only have curtains instead of doors for privacy, and the toilet sometimes required time to flush. Maybe their other rooms are better. The buffet was always well-stocked, with some dishes changing daily. The pools and drinks were readily accessible. While reservations for their other restaurants required waking up early to make reservations by 8:30 AM, this wasn't a problem for us, as we enjoy waking up early on vacation. Overall, the price we paid for our stay was reasonable.

Fantastic resort. We went with three families for a combined total of six adults and eight kids ranging from 6 to 13. The water is super calm and the beach has nice white sand. The staff are all super friendly and attentive. Lots of people who have time shares for like 30 years. Not a lot of places to eat but the food is great and we never got sick of it. You can swim in the pool until 10pm and the swim up bar is open until 930. Great time. The resort essentially shuts down at 10pm. I thought that would be a problem for night time entertainment but it wasn't an issue. The rooms are large enough that we could comfortably fit all three families into one and hang out. Room service is 24 hours so that's nice. You also get access to the Royal Sands so if you want the busier resort vibe for a day or two you can just shuttle there for free. Carlos, our concierge was fantastic. Went above and beyond. Honestly, it was a fantastic resort. Oh. One interesting thing is there were no mobs of birds. Resorts literally next door had birds all over stealing food and being annoying. Not this one. It was nice.

Did not replenish mini bar even when you request water. Poor customer service

The property could be really nice if there was some work done to it. The pool was cold, pool area was outdated, the rooms are outdated and the patios are so small!!! It’s nice to have a room with a kitchen and the near by beaches were beautiful. I would stay here again for a cheaper rate as I didn’t think the rate was worth it
