"Excellent hotel choice. Quite central to everything. Although almost all tourists go to Siem Reap for the temples, but there is no need to choose a hotel “closer” to the temples, as I find it best to be close to where you will also spent time walking around, especially in the evenings going to restaurants and bars. First class service, large rooms, and always friendly and smiling staff. Note that the “Golden Temple” group has 5 hotels in Siem Reap so it’s important to know which one you are going to for Tuk-Tuks and taxis. I had reserved at the “Golden Temple Boutique” hotel but I was lodged across the street at the “GoldenTemple Residence” hotel which is the one I am reviewing. "

"This property has a beautiful Cambodian flair. Although most of the staff do not speak much English, they still are very helpful. The café downstairs makes delicious coffee and offers baked goods. There’s a restaurant on site with delicious food. The rooftop pool is wonderful. For being right in the middle of a busy roadway, the hotel is very quiet. It is a couple of kilometers to the Riverwalk, and easy enough to get a tuk tuk ride for $1.25 through the Grab app or Pass app."
