"A friend and I stayed there NYE night after attending a performance at Freight & Salvage (1.5 blocks away). Location was perfect. After checking in, the front desk called to ask us if we ‘needed anything’; I asked for robes, and they were delivered in a few minutes. Also great to have a nice restaurant and bar on the premises. Then we literally walked across the street to the BART station-perfect!"

"We visited UC Berkeley for one afternoon during the Holidays and stayed one night at Sonesta Emeryville. It is located conveniently close to UCB and also there is a large shopping mall right across the street. Otherwise, location is not especially great. It's a good looking hotel relatively clean. There is a pricey restaurant located on the ground floor where you can purchase breakfast and/or lunch. Parking fee is high, but for one night it was alright. Staff was very eloquent and courteous."
