The duvet was only Summer weight so we had to use a towel and our coats to try and keep warm. Breakfast was continental and good, but a full English would have been preferred after a cold night! "Nice hotel in a countryside setting with beautiful grounds. The accomodation was good (Junior Suite) & spacious, though the room was quite a trek from the bar & restaurant. Conversely, it was close to the Spa. Plenty of car parking including some electric charging bays. The breakfast was buffet style with the usual choices, cooked or continental. The dinners were excellent in both quality & presentation, accompanied by good service. We didn't use the Spa. Overall, an enjoyable stay."

It was ideally situated for touring around the area, and even though the apartment was in the town, it was quiet and only a few minutes walk to shops and eating places. "Check in was 15:00. I arrived at 16:20 and the room was still not ready. I complained to the woman at the bar which serves as the reception, she apologised, asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited and then tried to charge me for it! Not a good start to my stay. However, the room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish. Extremely good value for the price and literally opposite the train station. Entry to the hotel is via an app you have to download, but it worked well...
