"We loved the King Deluxe Room with the Balcony. (Although a shared balcony). The bed was very cozy, the bathroom was clean and the shower was great! The view from the balcony was very nice. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful! Would definitely stay here again. Conveniently located so we walked everywhere in the city. The only thing I can think of that might need attention are the benches outside on the balcony were a bit weathered. But it didn’t really phase me. Highly recommend Alda Hotel! "

"The room was really lovely. Great view, great location. Lovely breakfast that is well worth paying for, you won't get better any cheaper in Reykjavik. Had one evening meal there which was fantastic. Service is great, location is good. Interesting harbour location away from the centre but in East walking distance of everything you want to see"

"We stayed for 2 nights. The property is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment rooms were fantastic, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is loaded with needed utilities and dinner ware. Breakfast is simple and sufficient. Especially as they deliver to the room so that you dont have to try to finish breakfast by a particular time. That includes milk, juice and fresh bread every morning from the nearby bakery. Bathroom was great. Once of the best experiences that I have had. When I go back to Iceland, I will stay there again. "

"Lovely room, nice decor and furniture and a decent size. Wifi was very good. Kettle in the room but there was a sign saying no cooking so I presume that means you can't use the kettle for making noodles. There is a grocery shop just behind the hotel which was very convenient. In front of the hotel is the seafront which was very nice."

"The newly updated side of the Center's Plaza site is beautiful, clean, and in a great area for access to multiple destinations in Reykjavik. The staff is wonderful and helpful, and in the lobby is an opportunity to socialize in a clean, open environment. There is street noise at night which can't be heard with the windows closed, coming from a few local night clubs. Overall, a really great experience, and very clean. "
