"After reading the negative reviews I became really anxious about my family holiday, to the point where I almost cancelled! I’m so pleased I didn’t because we had the most amazing time! The staff were incredible and views were spectacular. It’s a lovely downhill walk to Amadores Beach which is sensational and walking enthusiasts will enjoy the uphill challenge back up however for those of you not fancying an uphill climb, a taxi rank is nearby and only costs €4-5 for the journey! "I had a room that was not remodeled yet. It was very clean, cleaning service came every day except Sunday. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel is close to Cita Shopping Center and about ten minutes from the beach. The pool area and bar were very nice. Just wish the bar was open, there also is a stage but no entertainment. "

"Axel Brach is always my first option when visiting. The staff is great in all areas of the property. We’ve stayed at other properties in the area, but none compare to Axel. Pool, bar, restaurant, housekeeping, front desk staff… all are the best. "

"Just spent a fabulous week in the Corallium beach hotel…..it ticked all the boxes…. Location,comfort, cleanliness, staff breakfast…. all top marks! It’s a little out of the way but that can be an advantage depending on what you want. Bus stops very close to hotel.All in all a very positive experience."

"Loved that it was so close to Yumbo! We had a room facing the pool and would recommend this if you don't want to be disturbed by noise coming from Yumbo at night. It's worth the small extra charge! "

"My room 1272 was a good size for solo use, it was a bit of a walk from reception but there’s clear steps/walkways. Some aspects a bit dated. Could not use balcony due to sharp palm tree leaves taking up 1/2 the space. Walk to the beach/shops was ok, around 15 minutes safe and quiet area. The walk back from the beach does have a small incline but most people with moderate fitness will cope. Would not have paid the full price but it was fairly priced for the ‘offer price’."

"Hotel is a bit dated in places also only 1 lift working while we stayed at the hotel also stairs to climb with luggage to get to rooms as no walkways along each floor"
