"Rooms have been decorated nicely since I last stayed a couple of things to complain one of my suitcases was opened in room nothing taken but someone opened it and check in time loads of people waiting to check in and only one person behind reception it’s a very busy hotel something wrong somewhere I had to complain and two more people came out "

"Good standard of accommodation . Hotel clean and well organised. Very helpful reception staff . Did what it said on the tin at a competitive price. 10 min walk to Euston station and 3 min to nearest tube. Would use again. "

"Spent five glorious days at The Tavistock. Superb Staff, absolutely nothing was any trouble to them; excellent breakfast options, great food menu in both the bar area and the sublime Poppadom Restaurant. Comfortable and well appointed room. Great location. Truly impossible to fault."

"Great place to go for everything you need! The staff were super friendly and helped out with whatever I needed. No windows in the rooms but having stayed at a few Zedwells now that’s the norm - and for good reason. Zedwell is purely a place for sleep, meaning you get a super comfy mattress and no windows to leak the light in. You can be subject to noise from the tube early in the morning but for the price I wouldn’t complain"

"Check-in was efficient and welcoming. George was on reception and a really lovely guy, polite and courteous. Our room was a small twin room on the 3rd floor (there was a lift). Compact bathroom with shower and toilet. Kettle, hair dryer provided with sachets of tea and coffee. Flat screen TV with Freeview. Simple, clean, compact room, perfect to use as a base. 5 minute walk to Kings Cross and lovely pubs minutes away. Camden Market is a 35min walk. Will definitely stay again when back in London....

"Don't expect a big reception area and the breakfast is served in the basement area. If you can't walk steps with tight stairways or carry luggage it may not be a place for you. However if you like having a decent amount of space with a separate seating area, we also had a garden area it was nice. Good value for location but not overly fancy. Overall good. "

Great location and transport connections

"Very convenient location near Dominion Theatre and Oxford Street, tube and 176 bus stop very close that goes to Leicester Square and Strand/Covent Garden. Upgraded when checked in, lifts to room. Clean, good size room, lovely shower and clean facilities. One bar of soap and towels provided, no shampoo or body wash unlike other hotels. Tea, cofee kettle and fridge provided as well as a safe. Very good room for the price and location. Very welcoming staff as well. Place is currently being renovated per signs, but not affected by anything where I was. "
