"Clean, a bit small, nice shower... good for longer stays as Price is reasonable. 5-8 Minutes away from Paradise Island. Not within walking distance of restaurants a bit out of the way but suited us for our purposes. Recommend for couples. Google maps doesn't work for it's Street Address, but "Dawson's Hideaway" does come up & take you there."

"The fact that our initial room was completely different than pictured was just a start. We have used HomeAway many, many times with “exceeded expectation” results but this one was a let down. On top of it all, the hotel manager and assistant manager were... let’s just go with “less than pleasant.” I’m stopping here because I could go on and on about things that were overly misrepresented on this particular outfit. "They had only been open 3 weeks. Things need to be adjusted here and there. The window blinds don't close completely and too much light comes in the room making sleeping difficult. I had a full moon shining on my head for several nights. The young man who manages things is inexperienced but friendly and helpful. They have installed a generator in case of power outages."

"I never write reviews for these sites but feel obliged to for this hostel. It was a total disaster. From the get go the communication was awful. I emailed the owners to arrange transport as stated on the website. After days of hearing nothing they replied saying "it can be arranged" - and other than this there were no further emails. I emailed multiple times and even called but there was no further contact off the owners. On arrival into Nassau there was no one there for a pick up - to be honest...
