Not as advertised. They said the hot wasn’t a jacuzzi. It’s not a bottle of wine for VIP, it’s a glass. The staff talks to you like they are your parents. The electronics are outdated. Don’t recommend.

There was only one elevator working in the Sorrento tower. Wait time was 30 minutes average.

I was here from April 8-11 for my birthday celebration. Upon arriving at East Miami, I had to wait about 15 minutes before I was helped at the check-in desk. Keep in mind, there were 3 employees not engaged while I waited. I had to ask for help and then one of them said “Do you need help? I’m sorry I did not know”. I accepted the apology and checked-in. I was early and had to wait for the room to be cleaned. This was at about 8:50am. I was told I would be texted when the room was ready but I never received a text. After about 2 hours, I went back to the front desk to find out and was told the room was ready. Great, and no one had informed me. On getting to the room, it was mostly clean except the bath tub. I had to clean it myself before using it. I was too exhausted from a long flight to wait for housekeeping to fix it. The television became faulty (no internet connection) and I called to have someone fix it. No one showed up till the next day, after I made a second call for help. During my stay, I had to ask 3 times in one day to have trash removed from my room. For such a pricey place, I expected better service. However, I must mention that the housekeepers are very courteous. Also, how come there are no robes in the rooms? This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, correct? I was excited to stay here but my experience was lackluster. I will have to try a different place when next I visit Miami.

Truly enjoyed the hotel and how close in proximity it was to shops, food, and activities!

Good for business trips

Amazing stay view and area

Big plus = Location Very friedly staff at the hotel reception desk. Also the ability to storage luggage at first last day. To be improved: Breakfast / Dining Service at Front Porch Café with "some room for improvement" (quite slow, incomplete deliveries, inconsistent service level)

Great location, hot continental breakfast, clean room

Very nice hotel a block off the beach in an art deco type building.front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.Cozy comfortable lobby lobby with a small outside patio at the front of the hotel. Very clean room , spacious bathroom and considerate staff maintaining the floors, in that they were pretty quiet for those that were sleeping in. This was very much appreciated. No restaurant at the hotel but not necessary considering how many options are very close by.
