This is my second time on the property. This time with Family, overall great, just the beds are too small for adults.

Too expensive compared with better alternatives in Puerto Rico like El Conquistador

El Conquistador is a nice resort with multiple pools and a beautiful view. We had an ocean view room in the La Brisas section of the hotel on the 3rd floor and that was the ideal location because you can access it from either the inside elevators or the outdoor stairs by the pool which was more convenient. I don't recommend getting a room at the marina due to the amount of time getting from the main hotel with all the pools, restaurants and bars. You have to take the funicular to access the marina and there are long lines at times. Food is pricey at hotel and there isn't anything in walking distance. We did take a cab for $30 one way to Los Paraos (Sports bar) and ate a shrimp dinner that was fabulous. Breakfast buffet at hotel is $24. Long lines for the coffee shop which has donuts, bagels and a breakfast burrito to go. Ferry at the marina to get to Palomino Island (beach) takes about 15 minutes but there are long lines to get on the ferry. 1st Ferry is supposed to leave starting at 9 am and every hour. We got in line at 8:20 am and got tired of waiting when the ferry was nowhere in site at 9 am.
