"The apartment is located in an old hotel but the location & condition of the very large apartment was very good. Driving to all the villages in the Engandine was a beautiful experience. The location is excellent & many restaurants are available within 5 miles ."

"This place is about 20 minutes from city center, not far from the lake. There is a Lidi supermarket at the ground floor. Watch out - the room lacks some of the basic necessities, not even a box of tissues. The electric stove does not work in the room, so we just eat out. Although our reservation was non-refundable/non-changeable, they were kind enough to accommodate my change! "Reine Victoria is BEAUTIFUL. This is where we were supposed to stay. Unfortunately, we had to make a last minute change to our itinerary. Although our reservation was non-refundable/non-changeable, they were kind enough to accommodate my change! The only catch was i had to stay at Laudinella, which is under construction, so no amenities on the premises. With the being said, it's a quick walk right across the street.... however... i had no desire to walk across the street (in the snow) to use the hot tub, so we missed out on that. We did try to have drinks at the bar, but it was closed for a few hours for a private event. Again, another bummer. This was only a layover where we were catching the Glacier Express, but besides skiing, I'm not sure what else there is to do in the area? They do have a shuttle to/ from the train station, which we didn't know, so we ended up paying (27CFS) for a cab. Breakfast was great!!!"

"Great location for exploring the area and the hotel is lovely, very charming with plenty of parking. We didn't eat at the hotel as we wanted to explore the town and there is lots of places to choose from, all walkable within 5-10 minutes. Lovely hotel but we were just passing through so not enough time to fully appreciate the hotel amenities"

"The hotel is a short ride from the train station. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Very nice restaurant just downstairs from the room. Breakfast included a wide selection of pastries, fruits, cereals, juices and other beverages. We were surprised that the "balcony" faced another building across a narrow alley. Bed was firm (which we like) but the pillows, although large, were way to soft. Despite these items, we would definitely stay here again. "
